History

Western Leisure, Inc. was established in 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah and is the oldest full-service tour operator in the Intermountain West. Western Leisure was formed with the concept of providing a complete program of personalized group travel services to include: tour planning assistance, incentive programs, bilingual guides, transportation, step-on guides and single or multi-day tour programs. Our specialty is National Park Tours of the West.

Western Leisure provides wholesale tour products and customized tours, which are then run under the operator’s name. The international tours are created the same way except there is a wider range of merchandise including FIT products, adventure tours, and incentive tours.

Western Leisure, Inc. continues to provide inbound travel service for the domestic and European markets. In 1987 we expanded that to the Japanese market and in 2007 expanded once again into the Chinese market.

Western Leisure is also a co-owner of TAP (Travel Alliance Partners). This affiliation allows us to provide an outbound product to our existing customers.
