DAY 1: PORTLANDArrive Portland Airport, meet your Local Guide and depart; enjoy a tour of the “City of Roses” including the world famous International Test Rose Garden; then arrive at you hotel and join the group for a welcome dinner Overnight Kingman DAY 2: FORT CLATSUP – OREGON COASTDepart Portland and travel west along the Columbia River; enjoy majestic views of the Columbia as it empties into the Pacific from Astoria Column; then tour the Columbia River Maritime Museum and enjoy some free time for lunch on own in Astoria; then take a short drive to Fort Clatsop National Memorial for touring; after a difficult and historic journey to the Pacific, the fort served as a winter encampment for Lewis & Clark’s Corps of discovery from December 1805 to March 1806; This afternoon, travel along the beautiful Oregon Coast passing through quaint seaside towns; enjoy a stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, then arrive in Lincoln City; tonight join the group for a delicious dinner made up of local favorites Overnight Lincoln City DAY 3: SEA LIFE – SAND DUNESThis morning, depart your hotel and travel a short distance to Newport and depart for a Marine Discovery Cruise; this narrated tour will introduce you to the varied sea life of the Oregon Coast which may include whales during the right time of year; continue down the Oregon Coast, famous as one of North America's top ten most scenic drives; stop at Cape Perpetua, then continue on to the National Dunes Recreation Area for an exciting Dune Buggy Ride; in the afternoon, you'll arrive in Coos Bay, to tour the House of Myrtlewood. Tour the facility and do a little souvenir hunting before continuing your journey south along the coast. You will be arriving in Gold Beach for an overnight stay, evening free Overnight Gold Beach DAY 4: ROGUE RIVER – CRATER LAKEThis morning awaken with anticipation of a Jet Boat Ride on the Rogue River; afterward, travel east following the Rogue and crossing the Klamath Mountains on your way to Grants Pass for lunch on own; after lunch, turn north and travel to Crater Lake National Park for sightseeing; no place else on earth combines a deep, pure, blue lake with sheer surrounding cliffs, two picturesque islands and a violent volcanic past; it is a place of immeasurable beauty; continue north to Bend and your hotel Overnight Bend DAY 5: COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE - PORTLANDDepart Bend and travel north to the Columbia River; arrive in The Dalles and enjoy touring of the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center; after free time for lunch on own, travel west along the Gorge with sightseeing stops at the Bonneville Lock & Dam and Multnomah Falls; this evening, return to Portland and your hotel; tonight join the group for a fun filled farewell dinner at the Rheinlander Overnight Portland DAY 6: DEPARTUREAfter a wonderful experience I the Pacific Northwest, transfer to the Portland Airport, say goodbye to your guide, and depart for home (End of Service)
