DAY 1: SUNDAY
ARRIVE LOS ANGELES
Fly to LAX International Airport by 1:30pm. Meet your tour manager and transfer to downtown Los Angeles. Evening on own. Overnight Los Angeles.
DAY 2: MONDAY
LOS ANGELES TO MONTERY BY RAIL
After breakfast at the hotel, it’s a short transfer to nearby LA Union Station to board our deluxe private dome train car. Ride the rails north along the California coast and interior farmlands to Monterey. En route enjoy gourmet meals plus included wine & cocktails. Arrive in Salinas in the early evening. Overnight Monterey.

DAY 3: TUESDAY
MONTEREY & CARMEL
Visit the world famous Monterey Aquarium, Enjoy free time for shopping at Cannery Row. Then, we take scenic 17 Mile Drive to quaint Carmel Village, where we’ll shop and browse the art galleries. This evening, we’ll enjoy a seafood dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf. (B,D)
DAY 4: WEDNESDAY
MONTEREY TO COARSEGOLD
Visit the National John Steinbeck Center in Salinas. Then drive across the fertile San Joaquin Valley, past Fresno, to the town of Coarsegold nestled in on the 49er Gold Rush Highway in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Overnight Coarsegold.

DAY 5: THURSDAY - YOSEMITE
Spend a full day exploring Yosemite National Park. Enjoy a tour of the Valley floor with stops at Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, and Half Dome Rock. (B,D)
DAY 6: FRIDAY
COARSEGOLD TO VISALIA
Motor up into the magnificent Sierra Nevada Mountains along scenic General’s Highway. Stop for a picnic lunch at Grant Grove, home to General Grant Tree & Fallen Monarch. Then arrive at Sequoia National Park. Later, arrive at the Marriott Visalia and enjoy a Farewell Dinner. (B,L,D)
DAY 7: SATURDAY –
VISALIA TO LOS ANGELES
Return by coach to the Central Valley as you make your way back to Southern California. Once in Los Angeles, we’ll transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
